Mahsa was born in Arak (Iran) in 1997. She did her Bachelors in Chemistry at the university of Paris Diderot in France and Masters in nanomaterials at Paris Descartes University. During her master’s thesis she worked on “Multifunctional nanoparticles for dual magnetic resonance and optical medical imaging” under the supervision of Prof. Souad Ammar. At the University of Basel, she is currently pursuing a PhD on the subject of developing nanocrystals as artificial mitochondria in molecular systems.
