Eline was born in Antwerp (Belgium) in 1997. In 2020, she graduated with a master in chemistry from Ghent University. During her master thesis, she worked on the synthesis of hafnium oxide nanocrystals as CT contrast agent for damage detection in carbon fiber composites under supervision of prof. Isabel Van Driessche and Dr. Emile Drijvers. Continuing on this topic, she is currently pursuing a joint PhD between the University of Basel and Ghent University with an FWO predoctoral fellowship.
